- Betsy Shands -- Biology, Biography and Health
Betsy Shands seeks out stories, the stories in our bodies, and reads those stories through reflexology. Her practice involves reflexology and psychological kinesiology -- evaluating health based on muscle response. She combines techniques to begin to unfold a person's story of health and uses that story to release mental, emotional and physical barriers to well-being.
She, started, directed and practiced in a reflexology school in France. Betsy is a member of the Martha's Vineyard Whole Health Alliance. Her practice is called "Betsy's Hands."
- Paul Farrington — Sea Change Neurofeedback
Paul Farrington is a sensitive and responsive thinker. His approach to healing is to permit the mind to heal by "training" it to "let go."
Neurofeedback provides slight interruptions to turbulent thought and gives back "the now" to the person receiving therapy. Through a process of letting go of thought, Neurofeedback reinterprets the role of thought — it has a healing property, even in turmoil, if we can sense and allow our brains to let go.
Paul is a member of the board of the Martha's Vineyard Whole Health Alliance.
